A Thanksgiving To Share
The Agape Project NY is excited to announce the beneficiary organization and catering partner for our fifth “A Thanksgiving to Share” event providing meals for those without sufficient means to prepare their own Thanksgiving dinner. This event will provide individually boxed traditional Thanksgiving meals to local families and individuals who are struggling to meet basic needs.
One beneficiary organization of this event is Exodus Transitional Community. Exodus delivers innovative programming tailored to adults and youth affected by the justice system and advocates for a society in which all can achieve social, economic, and spiritual well-being. Across their Newburgh and Poughkeepsie locations, 60-80% of Exodus program participants are parents of minor children predominantly under the age of 10, with household income averaging 200% below the federal poverty level. Over the last 20 years, Exodus has provided services to over 25,000 recipients via numerous programs offering housing assistance, workforce development, multiple youth empowerment programs and an outpatient substance abuse program.
Clock Tower Grill located in Brewster, NY, has generously offered to serve as a catering partner and will prepare these dinners for a donation fee of $18 per meal. Holding true to their mission of sourcing local and sustainable products, these meals will include organic local turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, vegetables, gravy and other traditional accompaniments, including a slice of pumpkin pie.
Please be sure to place your donation order in advance of the Sunday, November 19th cutoff date.

The Agape Project NY is a grassroots community group founded by a group of women looking to help others during the pandemic. We seek to recognize those who care for our community and families facing food and housing insecurity. Our efforts have included contributing to local food pantry programs, providing school supplies to children without stable housing and support to parents of autistic children.
